A blank document wants finished sentences. A chat window wants a clear prompt. But creative work is messier than that.

Protopaper is the space in between — an open canvas where you can ask a question and have it researched, pull in what you're reading, and move ideas around until the shape of your thinking appears.

And it's not something you have to do alone — share the same canvas with someone and think it through together, in real time.
